Overview:
- Join us as a Java Architect, where you will lead the rapid setup and troubleshooting of new back office systems for client during their go-live phases.
- Additionally, you will ensure that all deliveries strictly adhere to Client's best practices.
- The successful candidate will have experience in coding and the ability to utilize that experience for difficult issues.
- We are looking for a candidate who can provide valuable insights and recommendations to enhance processes and products.
- You will collaborate with diverse teams possessing varying skill sets in this role.
- A successful candidate will have the ability to contribute to a team and convey technical solutions to both technical and non-technical staff.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities include the following tasks, with the potential for additional duties to align with evolving business needs.
- Partner with other Architects, Engineers, Developers, and Business Leaders to lead the teams in defining and implementing solutions.
- Assist management in conducting technology assessments and investigations aligned with the company's technology roadmap.
- Assist with creating, optimizing, and delivery methods for existing solutions.
- Conceptualize and influence solutions, interface with project teams, and advise steering to desired outcomes.
- Breadth of knowledge in established and emerging technologies, including IoT hardware, cloud solutions, predictive analytics, data visualization, and machine learning technologies.
- Showcase your ability to positively influence the organization with clear communication, persuasive skills, and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in Java, showcasing a robust ability to effectively debug and diagnose functional and performance issues.
- Expert knowledge of modern design patterns and principals.
- Preferably, have experience with OCI; however, any cloud experience will be considered.
- Working knowledge for Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of serverless infrastructure designs.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and communicate with engineers, management, and customers.
- Strong Analytical skills to absorb a lot of information and translate it into a useable blueprint.
- Attention to detail, ensuring reduction of risk in outages and inaccuracies.
- Problem-Solving skills allowing effective and timely solutions.
- Desire to learn all aspects of Tolling, including software, hardware, and business.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent science-based degree.
- Work experience is highly valued.
